This refers to your letter received on December 6, 2004
requesting that your advisory opinion request received on
December 6, 2004 be withdrawn. This request posed the
question of Ability of Federal officeholder and his
subordinates to serve in leadership of State party committee
that raises soft money.
This will confirm that we consider AOR 2004-44 as
withdrawn and are closing our files on the matter.
