Help on using AO Search

Case:

Choose a suitable case.  Both case sensitive and case insensitive searches can be performed.  Choosing case insensitive as part of your search criteria will disregard the case of the search terms for that query.  For example, while searching for the word "Advanced," (typed just as it appears) all documents containing the words ADVANCED, advanced, Advanced, etc., will be displayed.  A case sensitive search will display only the page(s) containing the word "Advanced."

Type:

Choose the type of search. A search based on "Exact Match" will search only for the exact words you specify, while a search based on "Partial Match" will search based on partial logic.  For example, a search for the word "Advance" based on "Exact Match" will only display documents containing the word "Advance" (search would also depend on case selected).  A search for the same word based on "Partial Match" will display pages containing the words "Advance," "Advanced," "Advancement," "Advancing," etc. (search would also depend on the case selected).

Construct:

Choose the construct of the search.  Selecting As a phrase will initiate a search interpreting the words you have entered as a sentence.  For example, if the search words are Help, on, using, Advanced and Search, then only documents containing the sentence "Help on using Advanced Search" will be displayed.  Selecting Any Search term will display all pages containing any of the above search words.  Selecting All search terms will display only those pages which have all of the search words anywhere in the document, and not necessarily in the form of a sentence.
